Papilio Jordani(Jordan's Swallowtail) -Female
Papilio Jordani(Jordan's Swallowtail) -Female -North Sulawesi, Indonesia (6 in wingspan).
Endemic to North Sulawesi and Very Rare.
Due to a very limited habitat in North Sulawesi and excessive logging this butterfly is vulnerable.
This specimen was taken in July 1992.
This Female mimics the poisonous Idea Blanchardi.
However, most people think that the Jordani Female is much more elegant than any of the butterflies in the Idea genus.
